IMEX’S PEVA:

PEVA, or POLYETHYLENE VINYL ACETATE, is widely used since the 1980's.

  • Lighter weight than vinyl.
  • Not as clear.
  • Scratches more readily than vinyl.
  • No heavy metals, no phthalates.
  • Used at Sears & Target.

IMEX'S MPE:

Metallocene Polyethylene is considered the "safest" clear films on the market.

  • Lighter weight than vinyl.
  • Not as clear.
  • Scratches more readily than vinyl.
  • No heavy metals, no phthalates.
  • Similar to PEVA, but removes all the "vinyl" attributes.

IMEX’S PHTHLATE FREE VINYL:

PVC (poly vinyl chloride) or vinyl is the most economical clear film available for durable packaging. Vinyl has been used in packaging since the 1960’s. JC Penney was one of the first to use this film for packaging blankets, sheets & comforters way back in the 1960’s.

Today, this clear film is used all over the globe, by all retailers.

Our PHTHALATE FREE VINYL is made with an exclusive formula that eliminates almost all the heavy metals and phthalates found in PVC. It is so safe; it even meets the toy industry standards (EN71) of vinyl found in toys!

  • Heavy duty, strong, no scratches.
  • Extremely clear
  • So far, municipalities are not recycling vinyl films. Indeed, NO FILMS are being recycled by any municipality in the USA.
